Bağımsızlar - Independents is a web-based mapping and archive of contemporary independent initiatives in Turkey since 2000. The project kicked off in December 2019, with several meetings in İzmir and İstanbul with the participation of 37 initiatives in order to determine together the meta-data to help find out the definitions, focus areas, legal entities, resources, and type of activities of the existing iniatives of Turkey's arts scene.
